I  was at the grocery store today.  I had an hour to kill while I had some car work done.  I went down each isle Just taking in all the products and evaluating the prices.  I came across a product that struck me as a possibility for a home cooking business.

The product was granola bars.  I remember watching an episode where the host made granola bars that he said were far superior to the store ones at significantly less cost.  If your up to the challenge try it.  Healthy foods are really big now.  

I have to say that I ate store bought granola bars as a breakfast substitute when I worked for someone else.  Though I thought the idea of making them myself looked great, I don't eat granola bars anymore so I let the thought go.

How far do you want to go?  You can make cookies, cupcakes or muffins and sell them occasionally for a small income.  You can have an outside business selling anything from hot dogs to full meals.  You can cater small office parties to massive weddings.
